Ensuring health and safety at work is one of the key elements of Saimare’s responsibility. Risk prevention and improvement of workplace safety are goals which involve the entire staff, at all organization levels and according to the different skills.
Several interventions have been planned in order to raise awareness among employees concerning safety issues, by ensuring an updated, constant and always available flow of information, to identify problems and study possible solutions.
Saimare’s entire staff has received specific training on health and safety at work and everyone has access, via the company’s intranet, to all the information and updates, regarding regulations and evacuation plans for each site.
In 2011 a structured analysis process and measurement of work-related stress, according to the provisions of Consolidated Act 81/08 and the ministerial circular dated 18 November 2010, was shared with all work safety responsibles and prevention and protection services responsibles aimed at providing the appropriate initiatives prevention of this risk.
In the 2010-2012 period, no cases of injury or work related illness were registered.
